Hawzah News Agency- Majid Al-Kaabi, one of the leaders of the Al-Nujaba Movement, said in an interview with Al-Akhbar newspaper: "Regional tensions and Israeli threats, which have not excluded Iraq, make it necessary to maintain the power of the resistance and its weapons as an element of protection and deterrence against any possible aggression''.
He added: "This weapon is not against the Iraqi government, but as a supporting factor for it, and it is considered a trump card in the government's hands for its negotiations for the peaceful withdrawal of American forces from Iraq''.
Al-Kaabi emphasized: "The position of the Al-Nujaba Movement, represented by its Secretary-General, Sheikh Akram Al-Kaabi, is clear and unambiguous, and it emphasizes the non-delivery of weapons to any side until Iraq is liberated from the American presence''.
